Today, Jay and I walked to the dog park with Dee Dee, our beagle - Staffy mix to get some air and let her get some exercise. Other than that, we pretty much hung out around the apartment and cleaned up. She made some amazing banana chocolate pancakes with the new grill that we received as a Christmas present and we played "Rayman Origins" for quite a while. It is a really awesome 2 player game for consoles that showcases some amazing 2D vector based artwork. It is also extremely challenging at times but we had a great time. Since the lay off where we both lost our jobs last week, we are just enjoying being together as much as possible. Soon we will both have new careers going and see much less of each other.
Jay has a lot of great opportunities lined up on the horizon... she just needs to hear some word back from the studios. Although we are starting the year out of work we are both very optimistic that we will find work soon and be in good shape once again.
